কৃষি বাংলাদেশের অর্থনীতির এক অতি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ খাত। বর্তমানে দেশে জিডিপির প্রায় এক-পঞ্চমাংশ অর্জিত হয় কৃষি খাত থেকে। তার চেয়েও বড় কথা কৃষি এ বাংলাদেশের জনমানুষের খাদ্য ও পুষ্টি নিরাপত্তা প্রদানের প্রধানতম এবং অন্যতম উৎস। এখনও এ দেশের বিপুল জনসংখ্যার কর্মসংস্থানও হয়ে থাকে কৃষিকে অবলম্বন করেই। ফলে ক্রমবর্ধমান জনসংখ্যার জন্য খাদ্য সরবরাহ নিশ্চিতকরণ, জীবনযাত্রায় মানোন্নয়ন এবং কর্মসংস্থান সৃষ্টি করতে হলে কৃষিক্ষেত্রে অধিকতর মনোযোগ দিতে হবে। সেই লক্ষ্যেই কৃষি খাতে অবদানে আমাদের ছোট্ট প্রয়াস।
Agriculture is one of the most important sectors of the economy of Bangladesh. At present, about one-fifth of the country's GDP is derived from the agricultural sector. More than that, agriculture is the main and one of the main sources of food and nutrition security for the people of Bangladesh. Agriculture is still the main source of employment for a large number of people in this country. As a result, more attention needs to be paid to agriculture in order to ensure food supply for the growing population, improve living standards and create employment. To that end, our small contribution to the agricultural sector.
